Special Award Recipients 2022
2024 Nature Center Volunteer of the Year:
Ken Fiscus Ken has provided the Nature Center and the public with his astronomical expertise for years. Ken has been a consistent volunteer of our Astronomy ventures, including the Cedar River Astronomy Club, planetarium events, Star Parties, Observatory viewings, and more. We are so grateful for his time and knowledge!
2024 Sigurd Olson Leadership Award:
Diane Petrik Diane served on our board as the Friends Secretary, in addition to countless hours served of volunteering. Though her time on our Board has come to an end, we wanted to award her with the Sigurd Olson Leadership Award to honor her hard work and dedication to the Nature Center over the years.
